So what’s in the BILL? Some of the major things the legislation does...
Extends tax cuts that had been scheduled to expire at the end of the year
Eliminates 'some' taxes on tips and overtime pay with a ceiling of $25,000
Cuts Medicaid funding by nearly $12 TRILLION
People with disabilities: rely on Medicaid for essential healthcare and long-term care services, which will be significantly reduced or eliminated with cuts
Older adults:
Medicaid plays a vital role in providing long-term care services for older adults, including nursing home care and community services
Cuts $12 BILLION from the Department of Education, eliminates many K-12 and higher education programs, strips millions of children of their opportunity to access free public education directly mirrors Project 2025.
Implements private school vouchers subsidizing wealthy families who can already pay for private school, while decimating public schools for everyone else by diverting resources away from public education.
Funds more border security and defense
The bill includes roughly $46.5 BILLION for the border wall and associated infastructure. It allocates $5 BILLION for Customs and Border Protection facilities and $10 BILLION for border security initiatives more broadly. Additionally, $4.1 BILLION is designated for hiring more border patrol agents and officers
(ICE)
Increases the National debt limit by $5 TRILLION
The DOGE agency was implemented under the guise of reducing our National Deficit.
The Bill increases our National Debt by $5 TRILLION DOLLARS !!!
