When we are designing a kitchen, it's the little things that count..... and if it makes your life just a little easier, I'm all for it! We suggested a pullout next to the sink for compost and garbage.... freeing up space on counter where her compost bucket used to be.... details matter 😉 for a day

Here is the "Before" and "After" of the latest kitchen remodel project.... the clients wanted a lighter, brighter look. We removed the gas stove and hood, replaced it with a wall oven and electric cooktop in the peninsula, featuring a "down draft" venting system to eliminate the large hood vent. This layout allows the cook of the house to be engaging with guests instead of his back to the room. All good points to consider when redesigning a room. ☺️

open and airy happens.

The 2nd photo below is the "before". You can see how the light was cut off by the French doors and wall in the way.... to make this happen a big beam and a big mess had to happen... but the result was worth it. Luckily the homeowners were away on vacation, you could not live here through construction. If you are thinking about opening up some walls, check with us first. Lots of things to consider before moving forward on a project like this.

Here's a quick little video on a Kitchen update for a client in Burlington. We incorporated some of her existing cabinets that she wanted to keep, with some brand new cabinets and opened up a wall to her dining room. To save some money at the time of renovating, she chose to keep her fridge and stove until a later date. We kept the openings at regulation sizes so brand new ones will slide in at any time. She was thrilled with her kitchen re-do. 😀

Tile is in, electrical done, cabinets coming together.... it takes a lot of co ordination to pull a kitchen reno together.... call us if you or a friend is thinking about upcoming renovations. We can help!
