Feeling so defeated. Raccoons got into the garden; gone are all our plums and grapes, and damaged are a plum sapling, a few raspberry bushes, onion, carrot and beans tops... and to boot, the potato harvest so far this year has been meager 🙄 🥴

Today marked the end of Maple season for us.
We boiled and bottled a little over 16 litres of syrup. That was 640 litres of sap. Front to back is a bottle from the beginning of the season progressing to mid and end of season syrup. As I understand it, the amber syrup is grade A, and the darker syrup is grade B; grade A is the desirable sap, but I think grade B tastes so much better!
