Final day of my for Chariots4Hope
Huge shoutout to Eric Soriano for driving all the way from Bellevue to pick me up in Elkhorn so I could make it to REBAR in La Vista this morning. That’s a road trip, and I appreciate you so much, Eric! Thank you for showing up for me and for this cause.
This week has been eye-opening.
Trying to coordinate rides, adjust meetings, miss workouts, rearrange schedules, and constantly figure out how to get from one place to another while still doing my job… it’s been exhausting. And this is just for one week.
For many people in Omaha, this isn’t a temporary challenge, it’s their daily reality. If you haven’t noticed, public transportation in Omaha is not the easiest to utilize. According to google maps, the closest bus stop to me is 4.3 miles away.
Not having reliable transportation can mean:
• Missing job opportunities
• Losing employment
• Not making medical appointments
• Struggling to provide for your family
Something as simple as a reliable car can completely change someone’s life.
That’s where Chariots4Hope comes in. They repair and provide affordable, reliable vehicles to individuals and families who are working hard to move forward but simply don’t have access to transportation. They also provide mentorship and support so people can truly rebuild stability.
Transportation equals freedom, opportunity, and dignity.
My goal for this fundraiser is $5,000, and I’m currently at $1,192.05. I know I have an incredibly generous community here.

Let’s see if we can reach $5k before the end of the week.
