Dear Valued Sectional Title Owners & Tenants.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the increases approved for the financial year 2026/2027, that came into effect 1 July 2026. They increases are as followed:
For Ekhurhuleni owners/tenants
• Electricity will be increased by 9.01%
• Refuse will be increased by 3.7%.
• Water tariff will be increased by 11% (No Free Kiloliters apply).
• Sanitation tariff will be increased by 8.35%.
For Johannesburg owners/tenants.
• Electricity Tariff will be increased by 8.63%
• Refuse will be increased by 6.20%
• Water tariff will be increased by 13%
• Sanitation tariff will be increased by 11%.
Please be reminded that these increases will only affect your levy bill from the 1st of September 2026 as most communities recover utilities 2 months in arrears.
