Zimbali Eco Explorers – Lakeside Discovery Walk!
Yesterday, around 50 young residents and their parents laced up for our first-ever Eco Explorers Discovery Walk along the Eagle Trail and Lakeside area – and what an incredible morning it was! Armed with discovery sheets and stickers, our little explorers set off in search of birds, insects, plants, animal tracks and spider webs along the way. Highlights included the Eagle Wingspan Board, walking behind the waterfall, a visit to the Bird Hide, and watching wildlife out on the lake.
A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who led the groups, and to VOP for generously sponsoring complimentary coffees with breakfast.
This is the first in a series of Eco Explorers Discovery Walks created to encourage our young residents to explore, understand and develop a lifelong appreciation for the extraordinary natural environment right on their doorstep.
