Getting ready to welcome guests for the weekend ❤️

Mae Mae and Tonic having a play.

This may look like the cutest, calmest setting but I'll have you know that following this video, I proceeded to harvest spinach out of the veggie garden and stupidly strolled back through the orchard, basket in plain site. It only took a few minutes for the sheep to clock my harvest and they then, along with the goats, chased me all the way home. Lesson learnt 😂

Join us tomorrow, 24 September, from 12pm for a proper Bathurst get-together.

Bring your friends, bring something for the braai and settle in for an afternoon of good food, drinks, live music and good company. We’ll have a lamb spit, drinks specials and live music with Charl Francis.

We’ll also be celebrating Gavin & Lucille’s birthdays, so come along!

Duke inspecting the quality of our checkout clean this morning.
Being the resident Quality Inspector is a tough job but someone has to do it!

Being Fig Tree Cottage’s resident Quality Inspector isn’t always an easy job! 🐾🌿

Today, Duke had a very important inspection to carry out — checking in on Fado and making sure she was doing okay. 🐴❤️

Of course, no inspection is complete without a little walk through the farm and some quality time with the animals.

It’s all part of life at Fig Tree Cottage — where every day brings a new adventure!

Just another day at Fig Tree Cottage... 🌿

When your neighbours include sheep, cats, horses, goats, chickens and plenty of trees, you never quite know who you'll find hanging out together. 🐑🐈💚
