I’m sitting in the airport on my way to Botswana for a meeting and I’m reflecting on how amazing it is to be in the construction industry. I’ve been lucky to have been to 51 countries in the world - most because of work. What we do in this industry has such a positive impact in the places we work. For a while in my early 30’s I worried that the construction industry wasn’t cool, now i think it’s the coolest industry in the world. Do you agree?

Have you ever visited or lived in Lagos, Nigeria? What is your view on the housing available?

Ikoyi Heights, for me was about creating an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city of Lagos.

I wanted to create a space where the people of Ikoyi Heights can relax and rewind after a hectic day in the city. We designed with our architects and client, a concept of a roof terrace garden and tropical oasis – where we will have a coffee shop, gym, relaxation areas and infinity pool. The development will have 90 high end apartments, it is truly an oasis in the center of the city – made possible because of the YoHome mission to redefine city living.

What does “City Living Redefined” mean to you? For me it is about giving quality homes to people in Africa, that are exceptionally designed and affordable. Just because it is affordable, we won’t compromise on design or quality. You can do great good, and make money at the same time.
