Camping at BietjieDam gives you all the beauty of being outdoors, with a few extra comforts thrown in. ⛺️🌿

Each spacious 100m² campsite has its own electricity point and private braai with a grid, with a communal braai area also available. Our modern ablution facilities include separate male and female sections, each with showers, toilets and basins, as well as an outdoor wash-up area for dishes and camping gear.

Sites accommodate four guests as standard, with space for up to six. And for those wanting to make a little more of their stay, wood-fired hot tubs can be hired and kayaks are available to get you out onto the dam. 🔥🛶

Camping rates:
Weekdays: R600 per site, per night
Weekends: R800 per site, per night
Additional guests: R200 per adult | R150 per child under 12
Pensioners (60+) enjoy half-price camping.

Firewood and ice can also be pre-ordered ahead of your stay.

While the blooms usually peak during August, the timing varies slightly each year depending on the weather.

For the love of camping ⛺️💛🌾

Set beside the dam on a peaceful working farm, BietjieDam’s spacious campsites are made for slow mornings, outdoor cooking and evenings around the fire. Each 10 × 10 metre site accommodates four guests, with space for up to six, and is suitable for tents, camper vans and trailers. Some sites are shaded, while selected sites sit right on the water’s edge.

Every campsite includes an electricity point, shared water access and a private braai, with clean male and female ablution facilities and outdoor wash-up basins nearby.

Guests can also hire a wood-fired hot tub for an extra-special stay overlooking the dam.

Bring your fishing rods, walking shoes and water gear, and settle in for a few days of swimming, paddling, birdwatching and enjoying the outdoors at your own pace.
