oviding services for government institutions nationally (City of Cape Town’s Special Programs Department) and internationally (Housing and Infrastructure Directorate of Bahrain), allowed me to expand my knowledge of how important it is to add value to the public. This would not have been possible if I did not first provide services to local new clients wanting to build a new house, consultants, master-builders, sub-contractors, and corporates. Another highlight of my career was when my construction sector peers recognised my leadership, skills, contributions to the construction industry, and my love to transfer skills to others. The Master Builders selected me to represent their interest and serve the construction industry as President of the Boland Master Builders Association. During this phase of my career, I gained valuable experience on how to help the industry on a national level and contribute toward legislation and contacts used. People know me as a top-performing, result-driven, solution-driven, direct, initiative-taking, mission-oriented collaborator with the ability to develop and strengthen management teams, defining and implementing best practices, standards, processes, and tools to achieve objectives and goals to maximise projects’ profitability and efficiency. In the lateral part of my career, I specialised in portfolio and contract management. Clients appreciate my ability to choose the right team for the projects, manage projects’ finances within budget, establish and negotiate contractual agreements, and develop and implement innovative contracting approaches to achieve positive outcomes.
