Two weeks married. Still feels surreal to say that.
It is wild to think that I once told my mom back in high school that I was going to marry this girl. And here we are, ten years later, and I finally caught up to her.
Eleanor, you have been my calm in the chaos, my reason to breathe slower, and the spark that keeps me pushing harder. You empower me to do what I do, to chase what matters, and to show up as the best version of myself every single day. You are always pushing me to be better, always in all ways. You make the hard things easier and the good things even better.
From late night underwater hockey practices to early morning runs with your dad where I was just trying to keep up, you have always had this quiet way of pushing me to be better without ever asking me to change who I am.
I promised to be your safe place, your partner in every crazy idea, your number two on every adventure, and your person through everything this life brings.
Marriage does not make life perfect, it makes it shared. And there is something powerful about knowing you have found the one who chooses you and believes in you every single day.
Here is to the next ten years, and the next after that. I cannot wait to keep running this race with you.
