We’re looking for a strong people leader with solid community scheme management experience, financial and legislative knowledge, and a passion for exceptional client service. 🏢💼

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
🔹 Leading, mentoring and developing the Community Scheme team
🔹 Driving performance, accountability and service excellence
🔹 Overseeing portfolio and operational performance
🔹 Managing financial and compliance requirements
🔹 Handling escalated client queries and complaints
🔹 Building strong relationships with trustees, owners and stakeholders
🔹 Supporting departmental growth and new business objectives

Minimum requirements include:
✔️ Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, finance or property studies
✔️ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Community Scheme Manager
✔️ Strong knowledge of community scheme legislation and property law
✔️ Proven leadership and team management abilities
✔️ Strong financial, organisational and communication skills

🏢 Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Community Scheme Manager
• Manage correspondence, minutes and emails
• Liaise with trustees, owners and chairpersons
• Assist with monthly packs and AGM preparation
• Keep internal systems and information up to date
• Log insurance claims and assist with maintenance matters
• Ensure invoices are authorised and paid timeously
• Assist with AGM and CSOS workflows
• Handle general administrative duties

👤 Requirements:

✔️ Computer literate
✔️ Able to work well under pressure
✔️ Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
✔️ Previous Sectional Title experience will be an added advantage

Trafalgar Cape Town is looking for a dynamic and experienced Community Scheme Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of Sectional Title and HOA buildings.

The ideal candidate will have:
✔️ A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Property Management, specifically Sectional Title Management
✔️ Knowledge of the Sectional Titles Act
✔️ Strong communication, conflict management and organisational skills
✔️ A passion for excellent customer service
✔️ A tertiary qualification, ideally in Commerce, Law, Finance or Property Studies
✔️ A driver’s licence and reliable transport

This role involves managing complex portfolios, liaising with trustees and directors, overseeing financial and compliance matters, coordinating service providers, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of schemes.
