• i worked with Stuart Forrest of Triggerfish for approximately nine months, arranging pioneering and much-needed development finance for Triggerfish Animation’s project, Zambezia. This funding helped support the company’s growth and development, ultimately contributing to international recognition and collaborations with major organisations such as Disney and Netflix.
• I was fortunate enough to spend several European summers on a superyacht in the Mediterranean, mostly based around Ibiza and Puerto Banús in Marbella.
• My immense passion for property eventually led me into the Cape Town property market. Perhaps this was inevitable: I grew up in a home where my mother was always changing and improving our surroundings, while my father was a shareholder in a nationwide wholesale furniture and appliance business.
Today, I absolutely love meeting new people, taking care of my existing clients and helping them find exactly what they are looking for - whether they are buying or renting a dream house, a dream apartment, a fix-me-up or the right investment opportunity. Equally, I enjoy helping clients sell or rent out their assets and ensuring that they achieve the best possible outcome.
I pride myself on building long-term relationships with my clients. In the past year and a half alone, I have successfully managed three sales for one particular client. On their most recent sale, they achieved a real return of approximately 30% IRR within just over a year.
My journey has taken me from a small town, through raising my children, into boardrooms, international negotiations and development finance, to film festivals, New York and the Mediterranean, and up many mountains - ultimately leading me into the world of property. Along the way, I have gained a broad range of professional and life experiences that allow me to take care of my clients from an informed and well-rounded perspective.
But throughout it all, the things that matter most to me remain people, relationships, creating opportunities and helping others find something that truly adds value to their lives.
