📢 Avoid unnecessary property transfer delays
One of the most common causes of delays in property transfers is late compliance inspections.
To ensure a smooth process, we recommend booking your Certificate of Compliance (COC) inspections at least 4 weeks in advance. This allows time for:
✔ Conducting inspections
✔ Identifying any non-compliant items
✔ Completing required repairs (if needed)
✔ Issuing certificates before registration
COC validity to keep in mind:
⚡ Electrical – 2 years (if no changes made)
💧 Water – 6 months
🪲 Beetle – 3 months
🔥 Gas – Required for every transfer
⚡ Electric Fence – 2 years (if unchanged)
If any alterations are made to the property, a new certificate will be required, regardless of validity.
Planning ahead helps avoid delays, additional costs, and last-minute pressure.
