Rules and regulations
It is a tranquil village situated at the foot of the Simonsberg mountain. You can enjoy the
beauty of the Groot Drakenstein, Franschhoek and Simonsberg mountains.
Prefer to not have loud music and events
Quiet hours – 10.00 PM – 07.00 AM
Number of guests – 4 adults
Infants – We love to host infants. Infant cots and highchair are available
Check-In Time – After 13.00 hrs
Check-Out Time – 11.00 hrs
House details – You will see that it is a double storied house. We live upstairs. The guest
house is on the ground floor
Access to the property – 24 hours [We have several guests attending weddings, and they
return home well past midnight]
Pets – Not allowed.

About the Property
Completely independent unit with a spacious balcony overlooking the Groot Drakenstein
and the Franschhoek mountain and a beautiful garden. We have been operating for the last
3 years [since Jan 2020].

You will not be impacted by the power cuts that have impacted South Africa over the last
year. There is power backup and inverter installed that will run all the lights, TV, and the high
speed uncapped internet.

About this space

Beautiful view to the Drakenstein mountains, experience relaxing village atmosphere. You will be in the heart of the wine country. We are in easy reach , less than 5km, to award winning vineyards and restaurants. The towns of Stellenbosch and Franschoek is only a 15min drive away. If you prefer the outdoors, you'll find Mountain Bike Trails along the Drakenstein and Simonsberg Mountain.
The space . Our house is located in the village of Pniel that was established in 1843 as a Mission Station. The village is located in the Dwarsriver River valley. The apartment consists of a bedroom with 2 single beds , and a big lounge area, with a sofabed that can sleep 2 people. The kitchen is fully equiped.There is a big patio with views to the valley and mountains.

Guest access:
The entire ground floor of the house is for the guests to enjoy. It has a very large balcony. You can sit there and do nothing....just enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature.
