It's Sectional Title AGM time! If you own a sectional title unit, please can we encourage you to attend your AGM. As an owner you automatically become a member of the body corporate. Think of the body corporate like a business with budgets and decisions that need to be made on where to spend the levy money. Your trustees do the majority of the hard work for you, but you need to vote on certain decisions, like a board. The trustees act on your instruction mostly. It is very important to be involved in decisions like maintenance as it directly affects the value of your investment. No one is going to pay top dollar to buy or rent in a run down block. It is also up to you, the members of the body corporate to vote on things like the insurance schedule, imagine the disaster if you are not covered adequately! So please attend your AGM and look after the future of your investment!
