Here’s a Cape Town rule I’ve learned: when the weather gives you a beautiful day, use it.

Plans can wait.

Head for the beach, take the scenic route, have lunch somewhere with an outside table or simply find a patch of sunshine and stay there longer than intended.

Cape Town weather has a personality of its own, so I always tell visitors not to save the outdoor things for “later”.

Keisha’s tip: Keep one day of your holiday deliberately flexible. Then let Cape Town decide what you do with it.

Grab a coffee afterwards, find a spot overlooking the ocean and take your time.
