CATS! An epic production. Fabulous on every level. Of course, I have to start with the band. Spectacular from the very famous first notes. Musical Director Louis Zurnamer brought the show to life, and when I heard some stunning reed playing, I was delighted to see Carl Ashford was there. The set, costumes, lighting, sound, fun interaction with the cats, spectacular dancing, superb singing with clear diction thrilled the packed house from start to finish. This really is the ultimate festive season show. Who directed it again? lol Congratulations Duane.

A friendly reminder to pop in at the Vredehoek Library's book sale on Saturday from 9am to 12 noon! We have delectable variety of books for sale for every imaginable taste - non-fiction includes loads of cookbooks, motivational literature and baby/childcare books. And of course there's fiction to satisfy every bookworm's yearnings.....must reads include Women who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Beyond the Miracle by Allister Sparks. The income from our book sales is utilised to buy arts-and-crafs supplies for the children's story time on Tuesdays and Thursdays and extra upkeep of the library. See you on Saturday!!!
