Morning inspection report with Jacob! 🐾

Jacob’s inquisitive nature got the better of him this morning, so we took a walk around the new development site in Kommetjie, right across from the post office exchange building.

A quick overview of what's happening on the ground:

🚜 Current Work: Earthworks and civil infrastructure preparation are actively underway on site.

🏗️ The Site & Scope: Known as the Wireless 1 & 2 development (by Red Cliff Properties), the total site covers approximately 5 hectares.

🏡 Layout & Plans: Approved frameworks outline 44 sectional title units on Portion 1 (Wireless Road side) and a mixed layout on Portion 2 (up to 101 units, including houses and low-rise apartments). Individual unit sales plans and pricing have not been released yet.

🚦 Road & Infrastructure Conditions: As part of the site approval conditions, the developer is funding road upgrades, including widening on Kommetjie and Wireless Road, dedicated turning lanes, footpaths, cycle tracks, and bus stops.

Follow Jacob’s morning walks for further progress updates as the project continues! 🐕✨

September is Rhino Month — a time to celebrate one of Africa’s most iconic species and raise awareness about the importance of protecting them. 🦏

Every rhino is part of a legacy worth preserving. Through awareness, conservation and collective action, we can help ensure that these incredible animals remain part of our natural heritage for generations to come.

Together, let’s stand for their future. ❤️
