Tastes like home 🇿🇦✨ And the perfect lunch to add to any Cape Town day out.

, tucked into Battery Park at the V&A Waterfront, is Chef Nolu Dube-Cele’s love letter to South African cuisine.

Inspired by the traditional Sunday “seven colours” plate — where staple, protein, sides and salads all come together — the restaurant brings that same feeling of community to the table.

Think Xhosa-style slow-cooked chicken, beef potjie, umngqusho, chakalaka, fresh magwinya stuffed with mince and malva pudding to finish. Everything is served family-style, so you dish up, pass it around and actually enjoy the meal together.

Even the drinks celebrate local talent, with Black-owned, female-led South African brands like HER Wines and Tolokazi B**r.

📍 Battery Park, V&A Waterfront
⏰ 9am–6pm daily | Dinner on selected nights

Save this for your next Cape Town day out and tag the friend you’d share a proper seven-colours plate with. 🇿🇦

Furniture store + florist in one space? Find me there. 🌿

Stumbled across this incredible gem in District Six, Cape Town, and honestly, I couldn’t get enough. Beautiful furniture, flowers, and so much attention to detail — every corner is a moment.
