Coming from humble beginnings, Rawson was started by Bill Rawson in 1978 and initially consisted of a small team of only 25 Estate Agents. Within the short space of twenty years, the company had successfully grown into a multi- franchise organisation. Bill then officially launched the franchise group under the Rawson Properties brand. The company continued to grow and achieve great success across

the country. By 2008 it founded its own in-house bond origination company, known as Rawson Finance. Fast track a few more years, and Rawson Properties is now the forerunner in the South African property industry with over 200 Franchises and around 2000 agents nationwide, and was recently awarded the most innovative real estate brand, best real estate marketing and best real estate brand at the Global Brands Awards.
