We sold it for a few hundred thousand profit within a few months. Then we did this a few times. Often we lived in homes being renovated (not for the faint hearted)
We would either sell, short-term let or get a long term tenant. Over the years we have been blessed with enlightenment. Convention has never been our theme. We didn't fully realise the super power we had. I did the numbers. I set up the company. I dealt with the banks. She designed, she project managed and led the contractors (who became family). We've been doing this for over 10 years. We haven't even told our family what we do! We don't have fixed salaries. My wife is a woman who ALWAYS has a measuring tape on her

We didn't realise that we had a gift. While I was doing time sheets and having performance reviews, the "hobby" was adding so much value. To buyers, contractors and us as a team. I never believed this could be a business. With God, anything is possible. I've asked God to bring people and resource, because the capital required and pleading with banks does take it's toll.
