BEST DECISION OF MY
LIFE.
SO .....12 years ago I had an I interview with Peter Ludwig from Gallery Properies on braai day.
I Always wanted to get involved with property but was raising my 2 children on my own and running a successful business. I decided my kids were now old enough for me to give this a bash.
I had been in the beauty trade and had had my own hair salon for years which I still have from home.
After the interview he decided I must start Immediately .
This was super exciting and so intimating.
At the age of 41 I was venturing into the total unknown. Many people said you crazy.
I set myself some big goals.
Being a business women for so many years was my advantage. I was extremely connected and started out serving my existing clients with their property needs.
I decided I wanted to sell my first property within a month. Which I did.
I needed a new car. This happened after 6 months.
I wanted to buy my own home. This happened in a year.
I worked hard , learned new skills every day. Did all the training I could . Peter was probably the best mentor I could of had, he is super knowledgeable in this business and taught me so much. We also had a life and business coach Peter King, who changed my life in many ways. My colleagues were epic and business was super exciting.
I started in Plumstead and slowly got my name out there.
I was one of the top agents and at that stage was selling up to 25 properties a month.
I got head hunted and joined KW 2 and a half years later. It was difficult to leave but there was huge potential to learn more and grow my business further, here I could sell anywhere and we had so much training which I loved. This platform thought you to really run your own business in more ways.
Read the book by Gary Keller. How to be a real estate Millionaire. Great for any business.
I went on huge seminars all over with loads of skilled business men and women from all over the world. Loads of Americans as its an American company. I got involved with leadership and was nominated on the ALC. board. You also earned a growth share here which was a nice extra income.
I have had the privilege of meeting so many people from all walks of life.
Had the most personal growth of my life here. Every single day I learned something new. I was always one of the top agents here and absolutely loved what I was doing. I was meeting top agents from all over the world. I loved sharing the knowledge that I acquired from this industry and always put all my effort in.
I am naturally a people person and have always know that I am here to connect people together and now to connect people to property.
I love to be totally authentic and listen well to people s needs. My negationing skills are incredibly.
I moved to Re/max Premier 6 years ago and love this new family of my. Kevin Jacobs is a family man and an amazing leader. My colleagues are all my friends, it's fun to go to work. We have loads of events and the best prevered partners ever, always willing to teach and help us further. We have 150 agents, I have watched Kevin grown this business in the last 6 years to this number. Every month we just get stronger and the figures proof the success.
This business is not for the faint hearted as you never know what you will earn. The more you put in. The more you get out.
It takes dedication to get up each day and believe you can and you will. I have seen many try and leave.
It's not a quick fix for money. It's a life time commitment.
It's been hard but absolutely worth every moment of it. I am happy to say after 12 years, I still love it with all the ups and downs.
I hope to assist you all one day. I am a peak producer and can sell anywhere in ct and surrounds.
I am still learning ever day , I have also started with some commercial and wish to do some development soon.
