On the basis of lifelong relationships, industry expertise, and a proven track record, Morné Whitehead has joined the EQUATE team in the capacity of Director.
Throughout his career, with notable achievements, Morné has gained an in-depth understanding of the Property Development sector and what drives it, with over 20 years of experience in the property industry. He
has spearheaded remarkable developments with some of the pioneering developers in the country.
His core knowledge of the development process and his passion for the financial aspects is what differentiates his ability to deliver end-to-end value from both a Quantity Surveying and Development Management front. Being a Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor, his extensive experience across many disciplines in the industry, and in various sectors such as Residential, Infrastructure, Commercial, Industrial, Hotels, and Retail, makes him a key attribute to the team. From his own pen; “My passion for buildings, cities, and people has taken me to several cities globally, including the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This has broadened my understanding of what makes people, buildings, and the spaces in between connect and co-exist, in a commercially viable context. My life goal is to fully understand how we can most
effectively connect our history, culture, and ideals with the future of South Africa's urban landscape.
