Good morning .... Golden Gate Highlands National Park is located in Free State, South Africa, near the Lesotho border. It covers an area of 340 km². Like we always say, there's no bad view in Clarens. This spectacular shot was taken at the Kloof Dam in the Clarens Village Conservancy by Madeleine Scholtz from Meander Stay Clarens before her morning swim.

Woohoo! Only 8 days to go until we get to celebrate Clarens Swiss Day on the square! It's going to be a fun morning where you get to listen to a traditional Swiss choir as well as some excellent local musos and have a good time with your fellow Clarenites. There will be Swiss wurst and drinks available to buy. Bring along your camping chair, picnic blanket and hat and enjoy the beautiful green Clarens square.
