I have lived in Durban North all my life, finally settling in as a resident in Sunningdale in 1993, and joined Real Estate in 1994 and have been in property ever since. I am married and have 1 son, Jordan born in 2000. He was diagnosed at a young age with a chronic heart condition and portal hypertension which is a liver related disease. I have written a book on his life which i published this year. It is called "The Gift of Life" and it is Jordan's story. A story of determination and courage. Of a boy whose life expectancy was age 4...he still inspires me everyday when he wakes up and faces his daily challenges. Career goals going forward:

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has increased interest rates, bringing the repo rate to 7% and the prime lending rate to 10.5%. This move forms part of the South African Reserve Bank’s (SARB) continued efforts to manage inflation amid rising commodity prices and global uncertainty.

According to Adrian Goslett, although the increase may place added strain on household finances in the short term, the property market has historically remained resilient through changing interest rate cycles.

Higher interest rates are expected to impact buyer affordability and may encourage more cautious decision-making. However, long-term demand for property remains steady, with many South Africans still viewing real estate as a stable investment.
