More than 20 Durbanites braved the cold for one night and slept in the kennels at the SPCA Durban’s Springfield Park premises in order to give back to animals in need.

A total of R222 500 was raised for the association which is celebrating 130 years of service.

On 15 August, our very own Vanessa Champion will be spending the night sleeping in one of the Durban & Coast SPCA kennels alongside 29 other incredible volunteers to help raise much-needed funds and awareness for the animals who rely on the SPCA every single day. ❤️🐶🐱

This won't be a comfortable night—but that's exactly the point. Every day, abandoned, neglected and vulnerable animals depend on the SPCA for food, shelter, medical care and a second chance at life.

💙 Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference.
