KwaZulu-Natal is strengthening its position as a globally competitive automotive hub. Understanding that investment drives growth and partnerships create opportunity, the integration of the KZNIC with SA Auto Week aims to highlight the province's established automotive sector, strong industrial base, strategic logistics infrastructure and a growing investment pipeline. It also creates opportunities for local component manufacturers and KZN businesses to plug into the broader automotive value chain. This is about more than attracting investment; it is about turning commitments into implementation, projects into jobs and investment into lasting economic opportunities for the people of KwaZulu-Natal.

✅ A stronger view of KZN's project pipeline for investors, DFIs and policymakers
✅ Shared infrastructure and coordinated delivery for a more seamless delegate experience

The Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal Board and Executive Management recently visited Wesgro in Cape Town for a strategic benchmarking engagement focused on strengthening how we deliver on our mandate.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the two organisations to share experiences and insights on areas including governance, legislative mandates, trade and investment promotion, strategic partnerships and sustainable funding models.

More importantly, the discussions allowed us to reflect on what is working, where we can learn from one another and how stronger collaboration between provinces can support our shared goal of driving investment, growing trade and creating economic opportunities.

For TIKZN, engagements such as these are an important part of continuously improving how we position KwaZulu-Natal as a competitive destination for trade and investment, while building partnerships that can unlock greater opportunities for the province and its businesses.
