TOP TIP: Final cost of obtaining the certificates for an older, larger home could run to tens of thousands if a methyl bromide tent fumigation and major electrical repair work for example is needed. Have the inspections done before listing, so the cost of the remedial work can be factored into the asking price, up front. 👍

DID YOU KNOW? When selling your home you will probably require a Wood Borer, Electrical Compliance and if applicable, a Gas Conformity inspection and Electric Fence inspection and certificate.

These clauses are inserted into the Sale Agreement and usually calls for the certificates to be obtained after signature of the deal.
