JT Ross Property Group | A New Chapter for Digistics in Cornubia

We recently celebrated the completion of the new cold storage facility in Cornubia, Durban for Digistics.

JT Ross has proudly been the KZN property partner to Digistics for the past 13 years. Over this time, we have had the privilege of working alongside their leadership team and have seen the business evolve and grow. The latest cold storage development is a further chapter in that journey; a purpose-built facility designed around their operational requirements and future growth ambitions.

The facility includes four freezer boxes together with mobile racking systems that allow for increased storage density. Provision has also been made for solar and battery installations, while back-up water tank support is provided for both the offices and refrigeration plant.

These details reflect the considered approach that goes into each and every JT Ross development, creating spaces that are aligned with how our clients operate, both today and into the future.

An indigenous Wild Plum tree was planted by both Digistics and JT Ross at the completion event - a living gesture symbolising business growth and prosperity.

The JT Ross team spent the afternoon at JT Ross Park: Northfield, planting 32 indigenous trees, including Flat Crowns, Wild Pears and Water Berry's, as part of our ongoing commitment to green, sustainable practices. It’s a simple, yet, lasting initiative that will have a positive impact as the trees mature and become part of the Park for many years to come. Mandela Day | Zero2Five

This Mandela Day, our team proudly honoured Madiba's legacy by giving more than just 67 minutes - we gave our time, energy and support to make a meaningful difference.

Together with Zero2Five, we sponsored and packed 500 school bags filled with stationery, reading books and snack packs for young learners at under-resourced schools in rural KwaZulu-Natal.

This incredible initiative was made possible through the generosity and collaboration of so many wonderful partners. Thank you to Zero2Five for bringing everyone together, City Logistics, EMBOcraft, Anthea Jansen, Marriott Asset Managers, Inhlanhla e.V., Book Dash, and the volunteers from Thekwini Toyota and Bellevue Campus for helping make a real difference.

JT Ross Park: Plumbago 5 | Construction Update

Three warehouses in Phase 1 are now well advanced, with roof sheeting and side cladding underway, while structural steel is rising on the fourth. The Park is really starting to take shape, from warehouse positioning to the centralised gatehouse that will support efficient operations.

Despite recent weather challenges, the expertise and commitment from our development team have kept the project firmly on track for completion in August 2026 with strong market interest already building.

Riverstone Office Park in Riverfields Lifestyle Precinct, Kempton Park is steadily taking shape, with key milestones now successfully achieved on site. Basement works and associated services are nearing completion, while the main structural framework is almost fully in place. Construction has now progressed into the next building phase, with internal brickwork and façades underway.
