✅ All schools in the Eden and Central Karoo District (ECKD) will be closed on:
Wednesday, 3 June 2026
Thursday, 4 June 2026

✅ This includes:
* Public schools
* Learner transport services (fully suspended in the district)
* Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres (recommended to close)

📅 Reopening
✅ Schools in the affected district will reopen on Friday, 5 June 2026

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating storms across the Western Cape, especially the families, friends, & loved ones mourning the tragic loss of five lives. We also keep the many communities facing displacement, flooding, & damage close in our thoughts during this difficult time.

While Pinnacle Point Estate have thankfully experienced minimal damage, we remain deeply aware of the hardship many others are enduring across the province.
