The Villa
La Lavende is a luxurious, waterfront Mediterranean style villa with beautiful lake views in Kosmos, Hartebeespoort Dam. The villa sleeps up to 14 and has 5 double bedrooms, 1 suite and 1 twin room (all ensuite). La Lavende is situated inside the beautiful, secure and gated community of Kosmos. The villa has it’s own water access and private jetty. It is nestled in between Mount Kos, the Maggaliesburg Mountains and Hartebeespoort Dam. It is on the edge of the water with an abundance of bird life and spectacular views.
The charismatic thatched house was originally built in 1907 but redesigned by a French artist in the 1960,s. It is exceptionally furnished and well equipped.In the summer soak up the amazing views from the 3 large terraces from where you can see across the lake to the Jack Nicklaus designed Pecanwood golf estate to your right and the pretty yacht club to your left. In the colder months you can batten down the hatches and snuggle around the large wood burner in the main living area. The property is suitable for private family holidays, romantic getaways or corporate/golf accommodation.
The house is completely private and only let to one booking at a time.
