One of the things we enjoy most about living and working in the Hermanus area is keeping up with what's happening in our community, and every week The Village News lands in our inbox and reminds us just what a jewel this publication is for the Whale Coast.
This week's edition made for particularly interesting reading.
We were pleased to see that the ongoing electricity challenges affecting so many residents, businesses and farms have now been taken all the way to Parliament, with more than 6,000 signatures supporting the call for infrastructure improvements.
With FynArts kicking off this weekend, the articles on Sculpture on the Cliffs and the High Street Legacy Walk were also a timely reminder of how fortunate we are to live in a town where nature, creativity and community come together so beautifully.
We also found the breakdown of the newly approved Overstrand budget worth a read, especially for homeowners wanting a better understanding of municipal spending, service delivery and future infrastructure investment.
A sincere thank you to the Village News team for consistently producing a publication that keeps our communities informed, connected and engaged.
We've attached the full edition below should you wish to browse through it yourself - just click on the picture below and enjoy!
As always, we'd love to hear which articles caught your eye.
Warm regards,
Richard & Charmaine
