🐾 A Message from Capelle’s Office Manager – Tobi the Cat, AKA Seun

There is one member of the Capelle team who takes office management very seriously — although his management style involves considerably more sleeping than the rest of us can get away with!

Meet Tobi the Cat, AKA Seun, Capelle’s unofficial Office Manager, paperwork supervisor and all-round morale officer. 🐱

As you can see, Tobi believes that the best place to oversee a busy day at Capelle is right in the middle of the paperwork. Emails to answer? He’s there. Financials to check? He’s watching. AGM preparations? He’ll lie directly on them to make sure they don’t go anywhere.

After carefully reviewing the September calendar — and no doubt consulting with senior management — Office Manager Tobi has confirmed that the Capelle office will be closed on Thursday, 24 September and Friday, 25 September 2026.

And judging by the photograph, Tobi has already started his long weekend! 😹

Heritage Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many cultures, traditions and communities that make South Africa so special. At Capelle, community is at the heart of what we do every day, and we are privileged to work with so many different people and communities.

There’s something special about the start of spring — sunshine, fresh blooms and new beginnings. 🌼🌿

A very special thank you to Jenny for spoiling the office today with the most stunning spring plants and delicious treats! 💐☕🧁 It was such a thoughtful surprise and a beautiful way to welcome the new season.

We are incredibly fortunate to work with a team that not only works hard together, but also takes the time to celebrate and appreciate one another. 💙🩵

As we move into spring, the Capelle team is going to start enjoying a little extra time off on a Friday afternoon!

Please take note of our new office hours, effective from 1 September 2026:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:00

To help us ensure that your queries reach the correct person and are attended to as efficiently as possible, please see our team contact details below:

Jenny – Portfolio Principal: [email protected]
Jenny heads up our team and spends a considerable amount of time out of the office visiting complexes and attending to scheme matters. When emailing Jenny, please also CC Joeanne so that we can ensure your email is attended to while Jenny is out of the office.
Joeanne – Portfolio Manager: [email protected]
Joeanne deals with general queries, compliance matters and day-to-day Body Corporate administration. All supplier invoices and payment requests should also be emailed to Joeanne so that they can be processed. If your Body Corporate would like its Conduct or Management Rules reviewed or updated, please let Joeanne know.
Jenene – Bookkeeper: [email protected]
Jenene deals with levy invoicing, owner accounts and general bookkeeping queries.
Rob – Maintenance & Insurance: [email protected]
Rob deals with all maintenance and insurance-related matters.
We are also fortunate to have a public holiday during September. Please note that the Capelle office will be closed on Thursday, 24 September and Friday, 25 September 2026, and will reopen on Monday, 28 September 2026.

Please feel free to schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting with us should you wish to discuss any matters in more detail. We particularly encourage trustees to schedule meetings when there are matters requiring discussion. Our AGMs and SGMs are also generally held via Microsoft Teams, making it easier for owners to attend.
