Last night's Harvest & Home Market was held under one of those Garlington sunsets that stops us in our tracks.

Residents came along to pick up freshly baked sourdough breads, pizza bases, homemade rusks, beautiful homeware and gift items, as well as farm-fresh eggs and locally sourced mutton.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support our vendors. It was a lovely way to spend a winter evening.

Our furry family members were truly spoilt with a day of pampering, wellness checks and their annual vaccinations thanks to the wonderful team from the uMngeni SPCA. 🐾💙

What an extraordinary achievement for our Garlington community to celebrate.

A heartfelt congratulations to resident Hannah Broad on taking first place in the Women’s Race at the renowned . Competing in one of South Africa’s most iconic endurance events is an accomplishment in itself, and to stand at the top of the podium is truly exceptional.

As a community, we are immensely proud of Hannah and all that this achievement represents – dedication, perseverance, courage, and strength of spirit. It is always incredibly special to celebrate the achievements of our residents and the inspiring things they accomplish.

A special acknowledgement as well to the incredible team and supporters alongside her journey : , , , , , and especially .hall111 – her experienced teammate and prime mover throughout the race. It is wonderful to see so many familiar faces from the wider Hilton community involved in such an inspiring accomplishment.

A Sweet New Chapter Begins at Garlington!

Yesterday marked a truly special milestone for Garlington Estate – the arrival of our very first lady bees. And with our apiaries now in place, we are one step closer to producing our own estate honey, which is anticipated around September.

We are deeply grateful to the incredible team from Bushveld Bees who brought this vision to life and went above and beyond from the very start of our beehive project. These apiaries are more than just hives – they represent our ongoing commitment to sustainable living and to nurturing the natural beauty that defines Garlington Estate.

We are now looking forward to flourishing gardens, thriving ecosystems, and to our very own Garlington honey in just a few months’ time!
