Giving recent incidents along Rustenburg road the Melville Residents' Association provided funds for the Creass flash team while the Melville Security Initiative provided funds for a brush cutter team to clear the roadway and sidewalk of overgrowth. March 25th 2026 marked the last stroke of a paint brush on the 7th street upliftment project ahead of The Happening which took place. The project kicked off on October 2025 and saw multiple curb repairs, paving reinstatementsats and fresh coatings of pave coat to the original iconic terracotta pavers that have been a part of 7th street for many years. The materials for the project was financed by the Melville Residents' Association and Melville Business Association.
Definitely our biggest undertaking yet and there's many more to come across our footprint.

The Creass Upliftment team was contracted to assist with road markings at a tricky intersection for the Sandhurst Heritage Foundation. The team made an assessment and requested to undertake the task as night time work due to lower traffic volumes after 6pm. The team arrived and made sure to use high visibility uniform and traffic management equipment. The team worked on one lane at a time to reduce the work footprint at any given stage. We thank the motorists for their patience and polite praises of thanks while passing. We also thank the Sandhurst Heritage Foundation and their sponsors for the opportunity to uplift the intersection for them.
