Its not a case of if the tree falls but when the tree falls for our team. Over the weekend our team worked alongside Beagle Watch environmental team and City Parks emergency teams to attend over 7 sites accross and beyond our footprint just to help a little more.

For Mandela day the Creass team decided to get involved with a community within a community.
The elderly residents of an old home in Westdene received assistance from our upliftment team to help them with some cut backs on trees to promote natural light and the warm rays of sunshine to reach their homes.

Giving recent incidents along Rustenburg road the Melville Residents' Association provided funds for the Creass flash team while the Melville Security Initiative provided funds for a brush cutter team to clear the roadway and sidewalk of overgrowth. The team will use the next 4 upliftment days over the coming months under the MSI to complete the tasks along the full length of Rustenburg road.

March 25th 2026 marked the last stroke of a paint brush on the 7th street upliftment project ahead of The Happening which took place. The project kicked off on October 2025 and saw multiple curb repairs, paving reinstatementsats and fresh coatings of pave coat to the original iconic terracotta pavers that have been a part of 7th street for many years. The materials for the project was financed by the Melville Residents' Association and Melville Business Association.
Definitely our biggest undertaking yet and there's many more to come across our footprint.
