Hotel Sky   is up for sale. Property Flash had this confirmed by an unnamed source. The top-end   will soon have a new owner as will     in Cape Town.

The   hotel which opened with 453 rooms in November 2020, during the  , is located at 150   Street, Sandton. It is considered to lie at one of the best addresses in Sandton, being walking distance from Sandton City shopping centre and Sandton Convention  . The hotel is   owned but could soon see itself in the hands of the likes of Southern Sun Hotels which   hotels across the  .

Fund, the JSE-listed landlord which owns top-end surprised some of its investors two weeks ago when it announced that certain conditions including high interest rates meant the group could no longer continue its development joint venture (JV) with Newlands Developments.

South African investors were initially to Equites when it listed in 2014 because it was a landlord with a healthy SA pipeline which blue chip tenants. Then later on when the group into the UK, it built a new, attractive development pipeline which is suddenly set to disappear. 🤐❌🏢
