Jabo – A boy in search of The Way Author: Prieur du Plessis
An elderly woman known as Josie, a senior member of the Sisterhood of the Magadhalenes, saved Jabo, a young street orphan and former slave, from the attacks of a street gang in Jerusalem. The destitute young boy became her protégé.
Jesus had spent eighteen years of his life in the countries of the East. In Jammu, close to Tibet, he met Mari. She became his first disciple and travelled with him on his teaching missions through India and other neighbouring countries. Wherever they came, Mari established cells of the Sisterhood of the Magadhalenes to care for the sick and needy of those areas.
When Jesus returned to Judaea at the age of thirty, Jabo joined the Magadhalenes that followed Him on His Teaching Mission. The Magadhalenes managed the logistics for the wanderers, while they continued their task of caring for the sick and needy.
