With only 2 days to go to the 4th Masingita Mall 4-in-1 Marathon, we are already going in with a WIN!

We proud to share that yesterday, the Masingita Mall 4-in-1 Marathon won a Bronze Award at the South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) Footprint Awards, a prestigious industry recognition for outstanding campaigns in the Community Building and PR category.

This is a well deserved recognition for an initiative that has truly raised the bar. What started as a mall activation has grown into a nationally recognized race, offering qualifying opportunities for both the Two Oceans Marathon and the Comrades Marathon.

At its core, this race is about more than running. When communities meet and celebrate at our malls, we are reminded of the powerful role shopping centres play in driving health, well-being and social cohesion.

We encourage all visitors to explore Masingita Mall and Masingita Plaza, which offer a diverse retail experience featuring fashion, groceries, health and beauty, banking, electronics, essential services, entertainment, fast-food outlets and restaurants.

Our restaurants and food outlets provide the perfect places to enjoy a meal, meet fellow runners and relax before or after the race.

Selected anchor tenants close at: 20:00

Selected tenants will be trading until later on Friday, 11 September 2026, so there is no need to rush. Whether you are collecting your race pack or doing your last-minute shopping, we will be trading and ready to welcome you!

IMPORTANT RUNNER INFORMATION

RACE-DAY PARKING

All vehicles attending the race must enter and park at Entrance 5—the FNB/Ultra Liquors side. Please follow the instructions of the marshals and parking officials upon arrival.

RACE PACK COLLECTIONS

Collections will take place at:

Entrance 4—KFC and McDonald’s parking area at Masingita Mall.

Late or manual registrations will also be handled at this location, strictly subject to entry availability. An entry is not guaranteed until it has been officially confirmed.

OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND RESULTS

An official race photographer will be capturing your race-day memories. The official photography link will be shared with participants after the event, together with the official race-results link.

OFFICIAL BUS DRIVERS

Our official pace-bus drivers will be on the route to support runners pursuing different finishing times. You are welcome to find the appropriate bus, hop on, maintain the pace and enjoy the journey!

Please arrive early, follow the event signage and listen to instructions from the race officials and marshals.

Today marked a very special day with the opening of Fleurhof Mall, the 19 561 m² retail centre developed jointly by Abcon Developments and Masingita Property Investment Holdings (Masingita), officially opened on 27th August 2026 giving one of Johannesburg's largest integrated housing developments its first major shopping and services destination.
Anchored by Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Edgars and Clicks alongside a wider mix of national retailers, restaurants and services.Fleurhof Mall is designed to serve a primary catchment of Fleurhof, Robertville and Meadowlands, with a secondary market reaching into Florida North, eastern Robertville and Roodepoort North.
The opening marks a construction period that generated over a thousand hundreds of jobs for the more than 9 000 housing units of mixed RDP houses, social housing and private developments such as Legacy Hill Estate, have that have already been delivered in the surrounding area over the past decade. Further phases are under way, alongside new schools, green space and a community centre.

Fleurhof Mall opening after just over 13 months of construction, following years of meticulous planning, Fleurhof Mall is now complete, with only four days to go until its official opening.

What was once a blueprint is now a tangible reality for the community.
