High standards aren’t something you switch on. They’re a habit.

As Managing Director of Protea Property Managers, John Smith leads the team, supports Protea’s agents and oversees the day-to-day direction of the business, making sure the standard promised to clients is the standard actually delivered.

With a BCom in Financial Sciences and CIMA Management Level certification, John brings a strong financial and commercial mindset to property, with a particular focus on protecting assets, improving performance and finding practical solutions for clients.

And then there’s the gold medal. 🥇

As an Olympic Gold Medalist, John knows a thing or two about discipline, preparation and performing when it matters.

Today, that same mentality drives the way he leads Protea: stay hands-on, pay attention to the details, surround yourself with great people and never become comfortable with “good enough.”
