🌿ON SATURDAY, 3 OCTOBER 2026 between 08h00 and 12h00, a number of us Ones will come together for our DOUGLASDALE SPRING CLEAN to combine our efforts, funds and material donations to clean up and freshen up two intersections in Douglasdale, namely,

1) Our verge garden and its enclosed portion of land on Leslie Avenue and Westway Road,
2) The verges at Douglas Drive and Crawford/Galloway Roads, with their uncut grass and littered pavements (and overflowing dustbins.

🌿COME AND BE 1 OF THE ONES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
We’ll get a little dirty, we’ll get to know each other a little, and we’ll feel a lot better about our neighbourhood when we see the beautiful, clean spaces we have restored.

Please bring your spades, rakes, trowels, grass cutters, pruning shears, brooms and strong dustbin bags.
WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR DONATIONS OF VYGIE PLANTS TO BED DOWN EXPOSED SOIL.
You’ll need sunblock, hats and drinking water.
