This very well maintained established income generating farm of 452ha, is located in a beautiful and safe area only minutes from the village of Mcgregor, and an easy distance to the larger town of Bonnievale or Robertson with its modern amenities .
The farm is planted to 37,5ha( + another 10ha Lemon trees to be added in Spring 2021) of Pecan nut and fruit trees, of which cultivar, harvest statistics and turnover generated is available on request. Trees summarized as follows:
• 21.5ha of Pecan Nut trees planted from 2010-2015 and approaching maximum production, with a small Pecan Nut tree nursery on the farm producing more trees to expand the Pecan Nut plantation from the current 3000 trees, to 5000 trees.
• 5,5ha Apricots planted 2006,2010 and 2017
• 8ha of Lemon trees planted 2019 starting to produce now, plus 10ha will additionally be planted in 2021

• 2ha of Peaches planted 2010 and 2017
The farm does offer more arable land to further expand the operation, and with the available water it does make it a workable and possible.
WATER:
The farm has 45ha registered water rights from a water scheme giving you 49 hours twice a month to fill the farm dams from canals, and has reliable sustainable boreholes that produces 35 000 litres per hour when required, plus numerous holding dams. At present there are 37ha of Citrus and Pekan Nut trees of which harvest stats and a tree census, that shows the cultivars and amount of trees planted, is available on request
The Citrus trees especially Lemons, grow and produces very quickly, and is a guaranteed winner should you want to expand farming operations. There is more than enough water to irrigate 45ha of orchards, but should the current dams be serviced and lined and one dam wall be upgraded, then a total of 70ha can be under irrigated orchards.
Furthermore the farm on average receive 354 mm rain per year.
