My Story

There’s nothing I find more irritating in the Real Estate Industry than Estate Agents who have recently located to Knysna or have just joined the property industry and advertise themselves as “AREA SPECIALISTS”. At Jawitz Properties Knysna we proudly advertise “WE know Knysna like the back of our hand” because I do. Born in Knysna and having lived here my whole life, I have seen Knysna grow and change over the years into the town that it is today. People come from all over South Africa and the world to enjoy the special lifestyle that we have and unfortunately often take for granted. The mountains, forest and ocean - a quality lifestyle that no amount of money can buy.

I have been practicing as a Real Estate Agent in Knysna since 1984 and have seen the residential areas expand and many new areas proclaimed as the population increased. Knysna like any other town has had its ups and downs - but at the end of the day we all strive for the same thing - a quality lifestyle where families are safe to enjoy the natural surroundings.
