Before and After...

The journey to The Garden Root Guesthouse as it stands today started in July 2015, project managed by Annelise Stein and a team of contractors. 10 months and 10 000 bricks later, we've made a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house into a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom open plan home!

The kitchen now has a laundry and scullery and a unique view of the Knysna lagoon and the Heads right from the gas stove.

We've changed the entire house, by removing the entire roof, and extending the north side and adding windows to allow more sunlight. All windows in the lounge and bedrooms were replaced with stacked doors and French doors to open up onto the patio and give priority to the gorgeous views!
