Marloth Park in Mpumalanga is 'n ware paradys, en sit snoesig teen die suidelike Krokodil Rivier grens van die Kruger Nationale Wildtuin! Dit is die ideale plek waar jy vrede en rustigheid kan ervaar en jou batterye ten volle kan herlaai. In Marloth Park hoef jy nie bedags rond te ry om diere te besigtig nie, hulle loop vrylik rond tussen die eiendomme, strate en ja, mense, hetsy jy by die huis is of as jy uit is vir 'n staptoggie, draf of fietsry.
Krokodil Rus, geleë in Marloth Park, is afgesonder in 'n oop blaredak bosgebied, wat baie voëls van verskillende spesies lok. Dit is 'n ideaal geleë selfsorghuis met drie slaapkamers (6 slaapplekke) wat nuut gebou is (Maart 2024), so al die meubels, linne en toerusting is nuut! Ons voorsien alle linne en handdoeke, gaste hoef net hulle eie swemhanddoeke te bring!!
Die goed toegeruste kombuis, eetkamer en sitkamer is oop plan, met drie aparte slaapkamers. Die ruim hoof slaapkamer het ‘n en-suite badkamer met 'n bad en ‘n rolstoel toeganklike stort. Die twee ander slaapkamers is baie ruim. Die tweede badkamer het 'n instap stort.
Ontspan buite op 'n groot stoep, die hout dek, of in die swembad, terwyl jy wild bewonder. Of staar snags na die sterre, of in die vlamme van jou vuur. Die huis is aleenstaande en lekker afgesonder, met parkland aan twee kante. Die Kruger Wildtuin se heining is minder as 200-meter van die huis af, so op sommige aande kan jy 'n Oscar-bekroonde vertoning kry van Leeus wat brul, of die verbasend gelukkig klinkende kinkels van Hiënas of die uiters harde huil en gekerm van Seekoeie wat vir gebied in die nabygeleë krokodilrivier baklei!
'n Groot plonspoel verseker dat jy die somerhitte kan verduur, terwyl diere soos Sebras, Blouwildebeeste, Koedoes, Bosbokke en meer verbydwaal! Ons het ook nou ‘n boma ingesit, asook ‘n gas braai met ontbyt pan, vir daardie dae wat die wind dalk te erg waai of as ‘n mens eers laat by die huis kom maar nog steeds wil braai.
Met lugversorgingseenhede in al die slaapkamers en die sitkamer, en sonkrag, hoef 'n mens nie bekommerd te wees oor die skroeiende warm dae of beurtkrag nie. Ons het ‘n 5000L JoJo tenk ook, vir as daar water toevoer probleme is.
Die huis het Fibre Wi-Fi konneksie en ‘n “Google TV”, (Eie Google-profiel) as jy jou gunsteling program wil kyk.

Marloth Park in Mpumalanga is a true paradise and sits snugly against the southern Crocodile River border of the Kruger National Park! It is the ideal place where you can experience peace and tranquillity and fully recharge your batteries. In Marloth Park you don't have to drive around during the day to see animals, they roam freely between the properties, streets and yes, people, whether you are at home or if you are out for a walk, jogging or cycling.
Krokodil Rus (Crocodile Rest), situated in Marloth Park, is secluded in an open canopy woodland area, which attracts many birds of different species. It is an ideally situated self-catering three-bedroom house (Sleeps 6) that has been newly built (March 2024), so all the furniture, linen and equipment is new! We provide all linen and towels, guests only need to bring their own swimming towels!
The well-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room is open plan, with three separate bedrooms. The spacious main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a bath and a wheelchair accessible shower. The two other bedrooms are also very spacious. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Relax outside on a large patio, the wooden deck, or in the pool, while admiring wildlife walking by. Or stare at the stars, or into the flames of your fire at night. We have now also installed a boma, as well as a gas braai with breakfast pan, for those days when the wind may gust, or if you got home late but still want to braai.
The house is nicely secluded, with parkland on two sides. The Kruger National Park's fence is less than 200 meters from the holiday home, so on some nights you may get an Oscar winning performance from Lions, the surprisingly happy-sounding whoops of Hyenas or the extremely loud moans and grunts of Hippos duelling for territory in the nearby crocodile river!
A large splash pool ensures that you can endure the summer heat, while animals such as Zebras, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu, Bushbuck and more wander past! With air-conditioning units in all the bedrooms and the living room, and solar power, one does not have to worry about the scorching hot days, or loadshedding. We have a 5000L JoJo tank as well, for in-case there are water supply problems.
The house has Fibre Wi-Fi connectivity and a "Google TV", (Own Google profile) if you want to watch your favourite show.
