We had the most terrible and terrifying wind storm last night. The wind reached up to 92km/hour at a stage. With that comes so much damage. Some of our cottages have lost their veranda roofs and carport coverings, solar panels blown off, but the saddest of it all, is our beloved tree. The stories it could tell. We nursed it from being a thin little neglected tree, to this beauty. I cannot actually imagine life without it. For 16 years it has been our steadfast companion.

Truly a very sad day.
