Keurkloof is a working Karoo farm near Matjiesfontein, just over 2 hours drive from Cape Town along the N1. The quaint guest cottage on the farm offers secluded self-catering farm accommodation at its absolute soul-soothing best. Set in the vast, inspiring Karoo landscape, the self-catering cottage is far from the nearest neighbours and therefore completely private. The rustic appearance of the co

ttage, built in the typical Karoo style, belies the well-appointed and tastefully decorated interior. Experience the boundless canvas of the Karoo sky, drink in the healing silence and smell the distinctive scent of the endemic shrubs. Watch out for small game and bountiful bird life, swim in the farm dam, take long walks and toast the breathtaking sight of a glorious sunset. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and you are welcome to bring your own horses for a memorable getaway.

End of the day and end of an era. Keurkloof has sadly been sold and we would like to thank all of you for your interest, participation and comments and photos shared. Of course to those who came to visit and spent some time in the Karoo we thank you for respecting, appreciating and enjoying the very unique and special place that it is. Our offering of peace and tranquility, oodles of space, privacy, incredible night skies were not wasted on you or your furry families. Many ashes have been scattered there. We loved sharing the space where we had put our heart and soul into with all of you.
We have the most precious memories as am sure you do too - especially those of you who returned over and over for your Karoo fix. Blessings and best wishes to everyone. 🤗💐🦋🌈 Gail and Steve.
