Who can lodge a complaint?

Any person who is a resident in a leased residential property. A tenant, a landlord or a group of tenants and interest groups within Gauteng, may in a prescribed manner lodge a complaint with the Tribunal concerning an unfair practice. All services of the Tribunal are rendered for free.

Congratulations are in order, for The Chairperson of the PPRA Board: Dr Steven Ngubeni.

He is the first black South African to obtain a PhD degree in Real Estate in the country. Based on the topic, “A Framework for the Development of Mass Valuation Standards in South Africa”, the degree was conferred by the University of Pretoria.
