Die sakekamer wil graag die volgende onder Moorreesburgers se aandag bring:

Ongeveer twee maande gelede het ons verneem dat ABSA dit oorweeg om die plaaslike tak toe te maak. Ons het DADELIK uitgereik na ABSA toe om die situasie te bespreek. ABSA het n delegasie gestuur van hulle streek kantoor om die aangeleentheid met ons te kom bespreek met die hoop dat hulle sal afsien van hulle planne.

Nadat ons n deeglike voorlegging aan die delegasie gedoen het het hulle besluit om NIE nou die tak toe te maak nie, maar eerder te kyk na ander koste besparings maatreels.

Ons is deurentyd in gesprek met die streek kantoor en ons span wat bestaan uit lede van die sakekamer asook eiendom kenners werk aan die aangeleentheid.

Ons wil ook baie dankie sê aan ABSA wat bereid was om ons te woord te staan asook Swartland Municipality wat n delegasie gestuur het om ook aan ABSA die ekonomiese kant en toekoms te verduidelik.

Daar is baie "gerugte" wat die rondte doen, en bogenoemde is tans wat die situasie is.

Congratulations on selling your place! Before you can officially sign off on the deal, you need to clear the ultimate hurdle: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬.

Depending on your local municipal bylaws, you cannot just promise the buyer that the home works perfectly. You must bring in certified professionals to legally prove that your house will not shock, explode, or flood the next owner.
During the transfer process, but prior to registration, the Conveyancer must collect the relevant compliance certificates from the Seller, to be delivered to the Purchaser upon registration of transfer. Depending on what is required by law and has been agreed to in the Deed of Sale, the Seller may be obliged to deliver an Electrical, Beetle, Gas Installation and Electric Fence Compliance Certificate.

Which 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 is your property in? (Rules vary by municipality; for example, A Water Installation Compliance Certificate is mandatory if the property falls in the jurisdiction of the City of Cape Town.)

It is imperative that these compliance certificates be attended to as early as possible in the transfer process as the Purchaser’s Financial Institution may insist on receiving copies thereof before they will grant the Bond Attorney permission to lodge their transaction at the Deeds Office.

It is also important that these compliance certificates are issued by licensed contractors, as the Purchaser’s Financial Institution will not accept certificates that have been issued by unlicensed contractors.

Ons sal die dorp op hoogte hou van die openings datum asook waar mense kan aansoek doen vir werk.
