Motorists are strongly warned not to attempt crossing flooded roads and low-water crossings in and around the greater Mossel Bay municipal area following sustained heavy rainfall.

Additional High-Risk for Closure / Flood-Affected Routes:
* Haelkraal Road (R328 โ Ruiterbos to R327 โ Herbertsdale)
* Leeukloof Road (Klein Brak River / Botlierskop area)
* Kleinplaas Road (Great Brak River / Friemersheim / Jonkersberg)
* R328 towards Oudtshoorn

Road surfaces may be damaged or washed away beneath the water.
Water levels can rise rapidly without warning.
It is often difficult to judge depth and current strength
